Although the Adlai bag is vacuum-sealed, Adlai beads can pierce through the plastic due to their sharpness, and can let air in and for the bag to lose its seal. This is a common occurrence and not a defect.
White Adlai has a taste profile that is similar to that of white rice. Also known as Job's Tears, white Adlai is a local heirloom grain that is native to Southeast Asia and the Philippines. It is a high-altitude crop that is grown where rice and corn do not grow well.
Our White Adlai is Non-GMO, Gluten-Free, Vegan-Friendly, and Diabetes Type 2 Friendly. It is also ethically sourced.
To cook White Adlai, use a 1:2 ratio of White Adlai to water and cook it as you would cook rice. Using a conventional rice cooker, set the time to 30 to 40 minutes until light and fluffy. You can use White Adlai as a healthy replacement for regular rice, or mix it with your Superfood or salad bowls. It goes well with sweet or savory dishes.
